Commissions Overview

My illustration style is inspired by anime, manga, and video games especially those on retro gaming systems like the NEC PC-98 and NEC PC-88.

I am experienced in creating character and background illustrations and would be happy to create artwork of your original character.

This page outlines the main commission categories.

The three main styles are:

  1. cell-shaded (colour)
  2. manga (B&W)
  3. pixel art

Character Illustrations

Standard character illustration categories include a:

  1. portrait
  2. half-body
  3. full-body

This describes the amount of the character's body included in the illustration (shoulders up, waist up, full length).

Background or UI Illustrations

Additionally I offer:

  1. pixel art mockups
  2. pixel art backgrounds

Examples

Prices are shown in AUD and USD but payments must be made in AUD (see Currency). A summary table is available at the bottom of this page.

Additional characters will cost +50% of the character commission cost. A basic background behind a character will cost extra (gradients or small details do not). A rendered object (e.g. a painterly skull in an otherwise cell shaded image) will cost extra.

The image resolution and size will depend on what you need.

Custom sizes such as social media banners are also available upon request.

Currency and Fees

All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD). The USD currency conversion is based on 0.67 on 17 April 2023; the latest currency conversion rate for your chosen currency will be included in your quote.

A flat 3% processing fee will be applied to all commissions.

Payment will be made through Paypal.
