About The Glade
glade: an open space in a wood or forest.
For me a glade represents self-reflection, new beginnings, and possibilities. This blog, The Glade, I hope is such a place (if not for anyone else, then for me).
I started this blog by archiving posts from my Wordpress account (now deleted) which shares free resources for learning perspective drawing.
I wrote this next part when I first made the blog to represent how I felt and the kind of atmosphere I wanted to convey.
Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the internet, this blog is a place to store thoughts, tutorials, and information and review them in peace and tranquility.
The earth is soft under your feet. Gentle and warm sunlight dapples the grass filtered through the canopy of leaves, and somebody has left a picnic rug for you to sit on, along with a thermos containing a steaming drink of your choice, and a picnic basket with snacks inside.
